Instructor Certification

Purpose

The Next Generation Krav Maga Instructor Certification Course is an approximate 15 hour course designed to achieve the following:

• Teach attendees how to relate self-defense techniques to kids ages 5-13.
• Train attendees on creating classes that make learning fun and capture students’ attention.
• Educate attendees on common behavioral issues and physical challenges among young students.
• Answer commonly asked questions about the program and provide help dealing with parent questions/common issues.
• Provide strategies for basic marketing and implementation plans.

This training course assumes a familiarity with the basics of Krav Maga techniques through personal and/or instructor training. A basic understanding of the techniques and good general conditioning is required.

Goals

The goal for this training course is for each attendee to leave confident, motivated and inspired to start and/or continue Next Generation Krav Maga.

Training Materials

Each attendee will receive a copy of the Next Generation Krav Maga Instructor’s Manual. This will be the basis for training as well as implementing this program. This manual is copyrighted and may not be duplicated in any way. It is also recommended that each attendee come to the course with a copy of Complete Krav Maga by Darren Levine & John Whitman. Krav Maga for Beginners is also recommended but not required. Upon successful completion of this course, each Instructor will receive a certificate of completion and a Next Generation Krav Maga Instructor T-shirt.
